If you’re not on a budget, a brilliant option is to buy the BSI’s ‘business continuity’ kit. It includes the Business Continuity Standard, BS25999), the Information and Communications Standard (BS25777) and eight supporting books on testing and exercising plans, human issues, meeting the standards, auditing plans, writing communication strategies, managing risk and disaster management.
BS25999 BRITISH STANDARD FOR BUSINESS CONTINUITY
BS25999 is the official British Standard for Business Continuity. It’s also the basis the pending ISO international standard and many other standards in the arena. If you only buy one standard, this is the one for you. Annoyingly, it’s in two parts:
