Bang! London asked if we’d invite any London-based readers to their next get together.
We’re happy to do so via this open letter from regular Continuity-In-Business.com contributor, Laura Meadows.
And watch out New Yorkers – there’ll be more news on Bang! meetings for you soon.
Dear Continuity-In-Business Members,
Bang is a group of friendly business continuity professionals who physically get together once a month and share experiences all year round via our LinkedIn group. And it’s completely free-of-charge.
Each time we get together, typically the last Wednesday of every month in the City, London, we invite a guest speaker to talk about a hot topic. Speakers include a wide variety of industry thought leaders from multiple business sectors. Whatever the subject, whatever the debate we like to push boundaries, challenge the unchallenged. You can sign up for our next event here.
We always make sure there is time for networking too, the event is held in a London pub currently the Old Doctor Butlers Head and our very kind sponsor Hugo Brown throws in a free drink too (this often makes the questions to the speaker very interesting).
BANG is a really friendly group and we welcome those interested in Business Continuity at all levels, in both private and public sector. We have members from Police and Local Authorities to banks and retailers from global heads of BCM to IT managers who have a responsibility for resilience. We like to think that our informal approach means you get more from our events.
Our members love to share their knowledge and last year were responsible for putting together the first 3pq which is aimed at bringing consistency into the business continuity world.
We would love to see you get involved, you can do so by joining our LinkedIn group or following us on twitter – if you feel you have something you could share why not get in touch and discuss being a speaker.
BANG is free to attend and a great way of building your network in business continuity and resilience. Thanks to the success of BANG in London we have now seen the launch of BANG New York and we are very pleased to welcome new members across the pond.
If you have any questions about BANG or would like to discuss being a speaker you can contact the team on the details below:
